Tumaini Children Welfare Foundation
is a child
focused charity organization
based in Njoro,
Nakuru District with a mission
to provide education,
healthcare, nutrition, shelter,
clothing, love, hope, protection and above all the love of christ to
children orphaned by HIV/AIDS,
destitute, displaced and abandoned
children in the
society. The Home cares for
22 orphans from a rented house.
OUR CURRENT AIM
Orphanage Project
Purchase of
Land - we urgently require extra funds to purchase land to build an orphanage. We are very pleased to announce that Eric and
Pauline from Canada during a recent silent Auction managed to raise $30,000 so far towards the
purchase of 20 acre plot of land
Phase 1 - Short term
Our IMMEDIATE aims are to raise funds - estimated cost $60,000
to add up to the current funds in order to purchase the proposed land in Njoro.
Phase 2 - Long term
to
construct a large building to house and care for the needs of 50 and above children, of all ages, from all religious backgrounds.
